Company History

Lorena Moore-Nez, Navajo, Owner / Lead Designer/Project Manager: Ms. Moore-Nez graduated from Northern Arizona University (NAU), Flagstaff, AZ, with a BA in Management. While in school, she was an intern for NAU as a Research Assistant and Small Business Consultant for the Center for American Indian Economic Development. There she worked closely with the 21 federally recognized tribes of Arizona.

In 1995, upon graduation she accepted a position as a Planner for the Navajo Tourism Department Navajo Tribe, Window Rock, AZ. There, she coordinated and managed the Navajo Nation Scenic Biway Designation Study. A Program administered by the Federal Highway Administration. Its purpose is to  preserve and protect the nation's scenic but often less-traveled roads and promote tourism and economic development. The  routes were successfully nominated.

In 1998, she and her family relocated to Phoenix AZ. As Finance Manager for a non-profit Native Arts organization, it was there where she found her own creative talents in graphic arts and web design. Together with over 8 years of experience in Management, Finance and Planning, she founded Dinehweb. Dinehweb has been in operation since January of 2001.

Luther Nez, Navajo: Vice President and lead Programmer/Project Manager for Dinehweb. Luther is a graduate of Northern Arizona University. He holds a BA in Civil/Structural Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Analysis. Mr. Nez, worked two terms as an intern for JPL (NASA), Pasadena, CA. There he studied, researched and compiled design modules for the Mars 2002 Mission involving the infamous Mars Pathfinder robot. Mr. Nez studied database design and development at Mesa Community College, Mesa, AZ and is proficient in various programming languages and PC hardware/software products.
